In Friday's league battle, the visiting Forney Jackrabbits soccer squad scored a close 7-0 win over the Crandall Pirates.
The Jackrabbits (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region 2 District 14 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Corsicana was overwhelmed by Red Oak (Red Oak, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Pirates (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region 2 District 14 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Ennis nipped Lancaster (Lancaster, TX), 6-0, in a league battle.
