North Carolina High School Basketball - Bessemer City ripped by Burns

The Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets to 33 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Gaston for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Burns will battle a Warriors team coming off a 45-36 non-league loss to Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-13.
The Yellow Jackets (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Rams enter the contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Highland Tech was routed by Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 41-40, in a non-league contest.
