The Lewis-Palmer Rangers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks to 36 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmer Ridge for a contest on Tuesday, February 7. Lewis-Palmer will battle a Bears team coming off a 58-42 league win over Lutheran (Parker, CO). The Bears record now stands at 9-6.

The Red-Tailed Hawks (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Kadets come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Air Academy was nudged by Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO), 54-51, in a non-league contest.
