The Clarke County Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Mountain View Generals to 42 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rappahannock County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Clarke County will battle a team coming off a 51-45 non-league loss to Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The record now stands at 6-12.
The Generals (0-20) will now prepare for their contest against Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Page County ran past Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA), 37-32, in a non-league contest.
