North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill knocked off by Lake Norman

The Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Cox Mill Chargers to 33 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Iredell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Lake Norman will meet a Vikings team coming off a 47-36 non-league loss to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-15.

The Chargers (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers enter the non-league contest with a 13-4 record.
