The Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) basketball knocked off the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 72-56 in Friday's league test.
The Chargers (17-0) will now prepare for their test against Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Jaguars go into the test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Forestview notched a victory over Chase (Forest City, NC), 63-42, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Huss for a outing on Tuesday, February 7. North Gaston will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 69-66 league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 13-6.
