The Deep Run Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Godwin Eagles to 53 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to J.R. Tucker for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Deep Run will meet a Tigers team coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-12.

The Eagles (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The enter the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Maggie Walker was nudged by J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA), 57-35, in a non-league contest.
