The East Henderson Eagles basketball team (East Flat Rock, NC), was nudged 39-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC)

The Bears now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Henderson for a battle on Tuesday, February 7. Pisgah will confront a Knights team coming off a 50-34 league loss to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Knights record now stands at 15-7.

The Eagles (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mustangs come into the battle with a 2-17 record. In their last battle, Smoky Mountain edged Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 60-52, in a non-league battle.
