The East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC), 45-37 in Friday's league test.
The Mustangs (12-7) will now prepare for their test against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, North Iredell went down by Statesville (Statesville, NC), 42-34, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Statesville for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. St. Stephens will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 42-34 non-league win over North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 9-9.
