Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC), 76-69 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eastern Alamance upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Northwood (Pittsboro, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Northwood lost 52-43 in their recent league bout against Orange (Hillsborough, NC)

Next up, the Rockets play the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Person will attempt to upgrade on its 18-4 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 49-42 non-league win over Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC).
