The Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA), 48-40 in Friday's league test.
The Wolves (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Vikings go into the test with a 21-4 record. In their last test, Pleasant Valley notched a victory over Enterprise (Redding, CA), 66-38, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chico for a test on Tuesday, February 7. Foothill will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 66-36 league win over Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-11.
