Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) and the visiting James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC), saw North Lenoir's basketball squad knock off James Kenan by a count of 51-38.

With the victory, North Lenoir upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. South Lenoir won 51-47 in their recent league challenge against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC)

Next up, the Tigers play the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. James Kenan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 43-40 league loss to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC).
