The Marvin Ridge Mavericks basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Piedmont Panthers to 31 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mavericks now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weddington for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10.

The Panthers (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record.
