Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA), 51-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Gilroy won 57-41 in their recent league bout against Overfelt (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 8. San Jose will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 43-28 league win over Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA).
