The West Brunswick Trojans basketball team (Shallotte, NC), was toppled 51-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC)
The Scorpions now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Brunswick for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. North Brunswick will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-38 non-league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-13.
The Trojans (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, New Hanover ran past Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 51-27, in a non-league contest.
