North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Rowan upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Cavaliers host Lexington (Lexington, NC) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Lexington won 36-31 in their recent non-league bout against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC)

Next up, the Dragons play the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. West Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 57-22 non-league win over East Davidson (Thomasville, NC).
