Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA), 42-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 3-15 on the season. The Panthers travel to Holston (Damascus, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 11-7.

Next up, the Indians clash with the Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Rural Retreat will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record.
