Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA), 48-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Orestimba upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Mariposa County (Mariposa, CA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Mariposa County lost 46-30 in their recent league bout against Denair (Denair, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Gustine Reds (Gustine, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Waterford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Reds go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 40-32 league win over Denair (Denair, CA).
