In Friday's non-league outing, the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) basketball squad beat the host Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM), by a count of 62-49.
The Panthers (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Clayton (Clayton, NM). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Clayton was topped by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM), 54-45, in a non-league outing.
