St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA), 80-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Joseph Notre Dame upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Pilots travel to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) to play the Yellowjackets in a bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 14-11. Berkeley lost 69-53 in their recent league bout against Alameda (Alameda, CA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 10. San Leandro will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
