The West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) basketball nipped the host Santana Sultans (Santee, CA), 44-43 in Friday's league test.
The Wolf Pack (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Matadors go into the test with a 0-15 record.
The Sultans now own a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a test on Tuesday, February 7. Santana will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 61-50 league win over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-7.
