Willits Wolverines (Willits, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Helena Saints (St. Helena, CA), 65-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Willits upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Middletown (Middletown, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Middletown won 54-51 in their recent league bout against Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA)

Next up, the Saints clash with the Roseland University Prep Knights (Santa Rosa, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 7. St. Helena will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 51-24 league win over Lower Lake (Lower Lake, CA).
