The Salado Eagles smashed the visiting Little River Academy Bumblebees soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Friday's league match.
The Eagles now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brownwood for a 4A Region 1 District 5 match on Tuesday, February 7. Salado will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Little River Academy drops to 0-8 on the season.
