The Berchmans Academy Saints basketball team (Grand Coteau, LA), was overwhelmed 60-34 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, LA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saline for a C District 2 battle on Monday, February 5. Georgetown will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 58-37 league loss to Calvin (Calvin, LA). The Bobcats record now stands at 19-13.
The Saints (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays come into the non-league battle with a 8-13 record.
