Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH), 55-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Buckeye Valley upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Barons travel to Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Hamilton Township lost 79-58 in their recent league bout against Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH)

Next up, the Silver Knights clash with the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs (Carroll, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Bishop Ready will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 48-44 league win over Logan Elm (Circleville, OH).
