Maine High School Basketball - Hermon tipped by Bucksport

The Bucksport Golden Bucks basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Hermon Hawks to 36 in the Golden Bucks league triumph on Saturday.
The Golden Bucks now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Stevens Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Bucksport will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-51 league win over Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.
The Hawks (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders enter the B North contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, John Bapst Memorial was nudged by Orono (Orono, ME), 54-28, in a league contest.
