Iowa High School Basketball - Burlington overwhelmed by Iowa City West

The Iowa City West Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Burlington Grayhounds to 39 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennedy for a Mississippi Valley contest on Tuesday, February 6. Iowa City West will battle a Cougars team coming off a 91-33 league win over Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 20-0.
The Grayhounds (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Muskies come into the non-league contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Muscatine was routed by Central Clinton (DeWitt, IA), 54-49, in a league contest.
