The Carrizozo Grizzlies basketball team (Carrizozo, NM), dropped 66-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM)
The Bears now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capitan for a 2A District 3 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Cloudcroft will battle a Tigers team coming off a 72-36 league loss to Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 7-13.
The Grizzlies (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Saints come into the non-league battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Chesterton Academy dropped by Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 75-11, in a league battle.
