In Saturday's non-league outing, the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Chautauqua Lake Thunderbirds (Mayville, NY), by a count of 74-32.

The Lancers (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Ramblers go into the District 10 Region 7 outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Cathedral Prep smashed Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA), 82-50, in a league outing.

The Thunderbirds now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Westfield for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West outing on Tuesday, February 6. Chautauqua Lake will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 59-43 non-league win over Buffalo Academy of Science (Buffalo, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 16-1.
