The Chuckey-Doak Black Knights basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Cherokee Chiefs to 56 in the Black Knights league victory on Saturday.

The Black Knights now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a 2A District 1 contest on Monday, February 5.

The Chiefs (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Grainger (Rutledge, TN). The Grizzlies come into the 3A District 2 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Grainger was routed by Greeneville (Greeneville, TN), 73-50, in a league contest.
