Christian Home Educators Knights (Sulphur Springs, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Excel Christian Academy Eagles (Powderly, TX), 63-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Christian Home Educators upgrades its record to 16-14 on the season. The Knights host East Texas Homeschool Sports (Longview, TX) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 16-8. East Texas Homeschool Sports lost 69-46 in their recent non-league bout against Marshall Christian Academy (Marshall, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Mercy Prep Academy Royals (Waxahachie, TX) in a TCAL bout, on Saturday, February 10. Excel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 53-45 non-league win over Athens Christian Preparatory Academy (Athens, TX).
