Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dooly County Bobcats (Vienna, GA), 61-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Twiggs County upgrades its record to 11-12 on the season. The Cobras host Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA) to clash with the Trojans in a A D2 Region 5 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Johnson County won 75-37 in their recent league bout against Glascock County (Gibson, GA)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Dooly County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 54-52 league loss to Westside (Macon, GA).
