Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wellington Dukes (Wellington, OH), 82-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Firelands improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Columbia (Columbia Station, OH) to confront the Raiders in a Lorain County 8 battle on Tuesday, February 6. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Columbia won 72-46 in their recent league challenge against Brookside (Sheffield, OH)

Next up, the Dukes confront the Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH) in a Lorain County 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Wellington will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 66-43 league loss to Clearview (Lorain, OH).
