Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the First Baptist Crusaders (Rosemount, MN) and the host Lake Region Christian Hornets (Baxter, MN), saw First Baptist's basketball squad knock off Lake Region Christian by a count of 67-53.

With the victory, First Baptist upgrades its record to 21-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to St. Francis Christian (St. Francis, MN) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. St. Francis Christian won 59-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Plaza Heights Christian Academy (Blue Springs, MO)

Next up, the Hornets play the Chisago Lakes Baptist (Chisago City, MN) in a Minnesota Christian (MACS) challenge, on Monday, February 5. Lake Region Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
