Gambell King Polar Bear (Gambell, AK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting White Mountain Wolves (White Mountain, AK), 87-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gambell upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The King Polar Bear host Shaktoolik (Shaktoolik, AK) to play the Wolverines in a 1A Bering Sea bout on Friday, February 9. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Shaktoolik won 89-72 in their recent league bout against Martin L Olson (Golovin, AK)
