The Grosse Ile Red Devils basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Jefferson Bears to 59 in the Red Devils league victory on Saturday.

The Red Devils now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverview for a Huron contest on Tuesday, February 6. Grosse Ile will battle a Pirates team coming off a 55-49 league loss to St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 10-6.

The Bears (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Huron (New Boston, MI). The Chiefs come into the Huron contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Huron prevailed over Taylor (Taylor, MI), 71-68, in a non-league contest.
