New Jersey High School Basketball - Hackettstown knocked off by Vernon

The Vernon Vikings basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Hackettstown Tigers to 35 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson Township for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Vernon will battle a Falcons team coming off a 45-39 non-league win over Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 11-5.
The Tigers (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against High Point (Sussex, NJ). The Wildcats enter the Northwest Jersey - Freedom contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, High Point ran past Dover (Dover, NJ), 65-60, in a non-league contest.
