Harding Academy Wildcats (Searcy, AR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Rose Bud Ramblers (Rose Bud, AR), 61-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Harding Academy upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Episcopal (Little Rock, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 9-14. Episcopal lost 46-39 in their recent league bout against Lisa Academy North (Sherwood, AR)

Next up, the Ramblers play the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Rose Bud will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 4-20 record after their 68-47 league loss to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR).
