Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL), 80-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sulligent upgrades its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Red Bay (Red Bay, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 20-6. Red Bay won 62-30 in their recent non-league bout against Winston County (Double Springs, AL)
