St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Logos Knights (Moscow, ID), 55-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Maries upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Lumberjacks host Priest River (Priest River, ID) to play the Spartans in a 2A Central Idaho bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Priest River won 60-56 in their recent league game against Grangeville (Grangeville, ID)

With the defeat, Logos moves to 11-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Kamiah (Kamiah, ID) to face the Kubs in a 1A White Pine game on Monday, February 5. The Kubs enter the game with a record of 12-7. Kamiah won 47-46 in their recent league game against Potlatch (Potlatch, ID)
