Georgia High School Basketball - Savannah Classical Academy overwhelmed by Montgomery County

The Montgomery County Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Savannah Classical Academy Spartans to 41 in the Eagles league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Claxton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Montgomery County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 77-53 non-league loss to Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-20.

The Spartans (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The War Eagles come into the A D2 Region 3 contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Jenkins County triumphed over Claxton (Claxton, GA), 77-53, in a non-league contest.
