The Penobscot Valley Howlers basketball team (Howland, ME), dropped 55-43 in Saturday's league battle with the host Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME)

The Dragons now possess a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calais for a C North battle on Tuesday, February 6. Woodland will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 60-44 non-league win over Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-3.

The Howlers (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Tigers come into the C North battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Dexter dropped by Schenck (East Millinocket, ME), 65-23, in a non-league battle.
