Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) and the host Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), saw Thomson's basketball squad wallop Putnam County by a count of 89-63.

With the victory, Thomson upgrades its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Josey (Augusta, GA) to play the Eagles in a AA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-15.

Next up, the War Eagles play the Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA) in a AA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Putnam County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record.
