The Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars to 46 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galva for a Lincoln Trail contest on Monday, February 5. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 43-41 non-league win over Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-16.

The Cougars (12-14) will now prepare for their contest against Galva (Galva, IL). The Wildcats enter the Lincoln Trail contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Galva was nudged by Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL), 62-53, in a league contest.
