New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Fe Prep nudges West Las Vegas

In Saturday's league outing, the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM) basketball squad edged the visiting West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM), by a count of 61-56.

The Blue Griffins (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Braves go into the 3A District 2 outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, Santa Fe Indian held off Raton (Raton, NM), 71-35, in a league outing.

The Dons now hold a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael's for a 3A District 2 outing on Tuesday, February 6. West Las Vegas will clash with a Horsemen squad coming off a 52-48 league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Horsemen record now stands at 10-10.
