Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), 49-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Archbishop Riordan upgrades its record to 23-16 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA) to play the Monarchs in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Monarchs come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Archbishop Mitty won 43-40 in their recent league bout against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 13. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
