Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 72-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherry Creek upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Bruins travel to Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Denver South Ravens (Denver, CO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Mullen will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
