Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI), 48-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Freeland upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Alma (Alma, MI) to play the Panthers in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Alma lost 48-41 in their recent non-league bout against Glenn (Bay City, MI)

Next up, the Dukes play the Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Garber will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
