In Saturday's league outing, the Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Amery Warriors (Amery, WI), by a count of 50-29.

The Railroaders (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI). The Panthers go into the Middle Border outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, St. Croix Central was crushed by Somerset (Somerset, WI), 64-43, in a league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Prescott for a Middle Border outing on Tuesday, February 6. Amery will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 42-39 league loss to Altoona (Altoona, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-8.
