The Linn Bulldogs basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Axtell Eagles to 24 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Heights for a Twin Valley contest on Tuesday, February 6. Linn will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 60-49 non-league win over Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-4.
The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Frankfort (Frankfort, KS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Frankfort was routed by Centralia (Centralia, KS), 47-42, in a non-league contest.
